Once Upon A Time In Mafoluku Oshodi, Lagos Nigeria

This is a little story about a town called mafoluku in the city of Lagos. Mafoluku is a suburb city in Oshodi. Oshodi represents a big name in Nigeria and Lagos because no matter where it is you are coming from or going in Nigeria, you will board you Bus in Oshodi. Oshodi is the Major business/transportation hub in Lagos and Nigeria, in fact it is the heart of Lagos because all traffic is centered towards Oshodi.

A close look at the pictures will give an insight of what am talking about, with a population of about 30million People going to and fro per day Oshodi is set to be the biggest and most busy business/transport hub in Africa in 5years time.


Oshodi is the main market place in Lagos Nigeria, in fact if you have never been to Oshodi then you never feel the beauty of Nigeria because in Oshodi you will learn and gather experience about the general societal lifestyles.

Though known as a notorious city, Oshodi house all the Nigerian Tribes, including foreigners who come here daily to market thier products and services. You have to be smart or someone picks your pocket or the will get away with your jewelry if you done stand well.

In Oshodi.....the motto for the Literate Nigerian is "Stand Well or comot" . Comot is a Nigerian slang for "Leave", "Go" or just a general terminology for asking someone that they are not needed in that area or particular place.

Mafoluku is just a walking distance from the international airport and it's beautiful serene green and Natural environment is so blessed..........to be continued
